Another small setback today-Clint had a fall at home, but hopefully it won't cause any major problems. He fell backwards on his rear end and lower back, but didn't hit his head. He has gained a little strength in the few days he has been home, but he is very weak and his mood is unusually low. Now I'm in charge of the meds I'm being much more stingy with the strong ones, so there are no more squirrels under the bed and Clint is much more lucid (but maybe it was the meds that kept him happy!?) I have pulled a muscle in my back, so I'm not able to help him as much as usual. I know he feels frustrated at being so weak and not seeing a great deal of improvement and of course I do too.
When this latest health crisis is solved and Clint is much stronger, we hope to go back to the big one of beating the cancer.
On a completely different note, does anyone have a double size mattress they could lend us for a few weeks and bring to us? Followers in such far flung places as Ireland, Regina, Winnipeg and Ottawa are excused from this request!
