Well wonderful friends, we seem to be nearing the end of our journey. The palliative team doctor who came to see Clint today feels he may not have more than two weeks left, so Karen and I are just making sure he’s as comfortable and has the best quality of life possible. The entire palliative care team are wonderful people and are providing us with great support and assistance.
This is certainly not the way we envisioned our journey ending, but Clint and I have become much closer in the past 8 months and have thoroughly enjoyed all the time we’ve spent together and with friends old and new and family during that time.
If you want to see photos of Clint and have not checked out my Flickr site it can be found at

Don’t google it, but put the address bar at the top of the screen. Open the set named Clint.
Keep you positive thoughts and prayers coming to ask that Clint is peaceful and comfortable for the time he has left.
It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters most in the end.

Dear Sue,
ReplyDeleteHow fortunate that your camera has been your constant companion during all the many wonderful times you and Clint have shared. This slideshow is dazzling in so many ways... the brilliant colours of the many lands and landscapes you visited, the happy eyes of the friends and family in the photos, but most of all the brilliant and ever present smile on Clint's face. This photo collection is an amazing treasure. Thank you for sharing
...thinking of you and Clint and Karen,
xoxo
Sue
