The fluid has drained and the drainage tube is out. The ultrasound showed that the blood clots in the legs (thrombosis) are no worse that they were in June. We still don't know whether Clint will go back on the blood thinners or stop the chemo for a while.
We have got much better attention since my meltdown-too bad it takes that to get noticed!
Clint should be home to to tomorrow. We are renting a walker and someone from the hospital will visit us at home to make sure our house is set up well enough for Clint to manage everyday things.
I'm not sure what I will do with all my spare time when I'm not at the hospital 10 hours a day!
Thanks again for all the support.

  1. Sue, I am so grateful for your updates. I haven't been able to get out and about due to the fractured ankle and Bill is still using about a box of kleenex a day with this cold he has. I'm glad to hear that your "meltdown" had an effect but sorry it had to come to that. I know how much happier you will both feel when you're back in your nest. I've hesitated to phone you at night because I imagined you would be exhausted after spending day after day at the hospital. I'm at home 24/7 at this point. I see the doctor on Tuesday for a follow up. Hugs for you and Clint. xoxoxo
