You have experienced the winds of change and challenge and you are still standing. Like the roots of a beautiful tree in the forest reach down into the earth, your foundation of faith and spirituality will keep you firmly planted.

When you’ve done all you think you can do, stay determined. When you’re doubtful and frustrated, don’t give up. When you can’t see tomorrow, just get through today.

Keep on keeping on. You will win. Don’t despair. Storms and the weather made that big tree strong and it’s still standing too, just like you.

In the quiet of your heart and mind, you may sometimes have questions. Stay positive and allow yourself to hope and dream, rest and relax. Believe that all things are possible and you will be empowered. Believe that you will win this battle!

Clint’s cousin and her family in Ireland, sent him a card containing this poem and we were so touched by the sentiment, I decided to add it to one of my photos and post it so everyone could read it.
Clint continues to do well-in fact several people who don’t know about his treatment, have told him he looks tanned and healthy and asked him if he’s been south for a holiday (Radiation Beach!)
