Today Clint had his first radiation treatment with one to follow every day this week. He reported that there was no pain and it only took a few minutes to complete (in Clint’s words “30 seconds each side; done like toast”). He does not expect to have any side effects from the radiation (other than possible hair loss). The only aggravation today was the fact that everything was running behind schedule, so it took 3 hours for a few minutes of radiation and a quick chat with the radiology oncologist. Other than that it’s hard to fault princess Margaret Hospital-it’s an amazing place.
In the photo above, Clint is wearing his new cotton shirt, which we found on a stall in the St Lawrence Market.
We continue to be positive and lead our lives pretty much as normal. Thanks again for all your support.

  1. Thinking of both of you. Glad treatment has started so quickly. Princess Margaret Hospital is an amazing place. I went with my aunt for her radiation treatment and everyone is friendly, positive, helpful and respectful. They are all so committed. Will continue to think of you both and send positive energy!
