Clint has been progressing well in the week since he was discharged from hospital. A recent X-ray showed that there is only a very small amount of fluid in the lung cavity and blood tests showed his blood counts back to normal.
He’s still using the walker outside, but doesn’t need it in the house any more.
Nurse Sue changes his dressing every day and he should be able to have the stitches out early next week. He is eating well and has put back most of the weight he lost in hospital.
We have an appointment with the thrombosis doctor on November 22nd. and may be able to go back on chemo when we see the oncologist on November 23rd.
Many thanks to all the people who have visited (some from as far away as Winnipeg!) A lot of visitors have arrived bearing gifts, which is most generous, but is not a prerequisite for visiting! They brought home made soup, cheeses, chocolate, spices and pastries none of which have gone to waste.
At the risk of repeating myself, where would we be without our friends!
So glad to hear Cling is healing so quickly! With another week in Nurse Sue's loving care I can only think that next week's appointments will go well. Where would we be without family, friends, love and good food! Love to both of you and all the friends who have sent their love via email, visits and food!

Another great photo! I hope that Clint's appetite continues to stay up there and that the appointment on Monday goes well. Have a nice weekend.
