Clint has bought a hoodie to keep his neck and head warm so now he's starting to act like a gangster!

We saw the Oncologist today to get the results of the various tests Clint has had over the past couple of weeks. The results were very good. All the tumours with the exception of a small one in the lung, have shrunk or have stabilized since the last scans. We were particularly pleased with the results of the brain scan as it showed the tumours there have shrunk and are now so small they cannot be seen.
As the MUGA test showed Clint’s heart is strong and able to take more chemo, he has opted to have 3 more rounds (9 more weeks). His blood count was too low for chemo today, so he will start the next round on Tuesday September 28th.
I will be in England for 2 weeks, leaving on Saturday September 25 and returning October 12th. I will be bringing my mom back with me for a 2 week visit and we are looking forward to that. Unfortunately Clint’s sister, Karen will also be away next week, so it would be nice if people could keep in touch with him and make sure that he is coping without my expert nursing care!
Since Tuesday’s chemo infusion means a long day at Mt Sinai for Clint, anyone would be more than welcome to drop by the hospital and visit him (chemo daycare as one of our friends describes it!)

As always, we thank you for your tremendous support, which has come in many different forms and continues to sustain us through our journey.
Here is my quote for this week.
This is my wish for you: comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth and love to complete your life.
